Bouncers in Brooklyn as NYPD pitches up community cricket

MESBAH UDDIN, 16, from Bangladesh, has never played on a real pitch, but that does not make him any less enthusiastic about the game that fuels the dreams of young men in Brooklyn.
They dream not of baseball but of cricket; of being an opener for the USA national team or even playing first grade for their countries of origin - perhaps Pakistan or Bangladesh - and the New York City Police Department is helping them.
